KITAS Work VISA
A Work KITAS visa permits foreign nationals to legally work and earn an income in Indonesia, necessitating an employment contract with a local company.
Understanding the Work Permit in Indonesia
A work permit in Indonesia has varying durations and is subject to extension based on certain criteria. Generally, it is valid for either 6 or 12 months, aligning with a multiple-entry visa that allows holders to travel in and out of the country without canceling their KITAS (Limited Stay Permit). Under specific conditions, eligible individuals can apply for a 5-year work visa if they either hold a director position in a PMA (Foreign Investment Company) or possess a higher education degree coupled with at least 5 years of relevant work experience in their field.
