Categories of Applicants for Family KITAS with E31 Index

The family Kitas with the E31 index is available to specific categories of applicants:

– E31A: Spouse of an Indonesian citizen
– E31B: Spouse of a KITAS holder
– E31C: Child of an Indonesian citizen
– E31D: Step-child of an Indonesian citizen
– E31E: Children under 18 years of parents who hold a KITAS
– E31F: Legally adopted child of an Indonesian citizen
– E31G: Legal parent of an Indonesian citizen over 21
– E31H: Parent of a child who holds a KITAS

Family Kitas sponsored by investor KITAS holders can now be issued for a duration of 2 years, while other types are typically issued for 1 year.

Registration Terms

Obtaining an offshore investor KITAS occurs in two stages:
1. E-Visa Application: Takes approximately 7-10 working days.
2. Kitas Submission: Takes around 2 weeks after entering Indonesia.

The processing time for an onshore investor KITAS is about 1-2 months.

Visa Payment Methods

Payment methods include:

  • – Cash at the office
  • – Cash through Alfamart
  • – Cash to a courier

A family Kitas is issued post-receipt of the sponsor’s e-visa. This is also valid whether from an Indonesian spouse/parent or from a KITAS holder.

Documents Required from Applicants

The following documents should be present:

  • – Passport that is valid for at least 18 months
  • – Certificate showing a minimum account balance of $2,000 (in any bank, in any currency, with an English statement)
  • – Recent passport-sized photos
  • – Parents’ marriage certificate
  • – Birth certificate (if applicable)

All documents must be submitted in scanned format with visible seals and signatures. Birth and marriage certificates should include sworn translations, as other translation types are not accepted.
For Kitas sponsored by an Indonesian spouse/parent, additional documents required include:
– Account statement showing a balance of $2,000 or more
– Passport color photo
– Spouse’s Identification Card (CTP)
– Spouse’s Family Card (Kartu Keluarga)
– Marriage report from Indonesian representatives
– Marriage certificate
– Birth certificate (for children)
– Evidence of receiving full vaccine doses
– Educational certificate (ijazah)
– Residency document in Indonesia from both spouses
