Multi-Entry VISA D1 / D2

Multi-Entry Visa D1 and D2 are valid for one year and permit stays in Indonesia of up to 60 days at a time. After this period, you must exit the country, although you can re-enter at any time.

Visa Application Requirements

You may apply for a visa from outside Indonesia, which will activate upon your entry. Required documents include:
– A color photograph of your passport showing an expiration date of at least 18 months, with four blank pages. The photo should show the passport cover and main details without any obstruction.
– A color photo of yourself against a red or blue background, or in a neutral tone (selfies are acceptable if framed properly).

you can extend your visa twice for an additional 60 days each, allowing a maximum stay of 180 days without leaving. After that, you are required to exit the country. Note that visa extension policies are subject to change.

D1 and D2 Visa Features

Designed for frequent travelers, D1 and D2 visas are suitable for those not intending to remain long-term in Indonesia. However, repeated short visits may lead to inquiries from immigration about your purpose, as longer stays may require other visa options.

FAQs

Can I leave for just one day and return multiple times?  Yes, but expect scrutiny from border officials since this visa is intended for short visits. For longer stays, consider a b211 visa.
Is the visa renewed after one year or is a new one issued? Current policies are unclear as this is a new visa category, but updates will be provided later.
